Spotlight: Northside Baptist Church

“The partnership Northside Baptist has with ASG has allowed the church to solidify its ministry into an actively impactful and reliable source of food for its community. Without the ASG partnership, 85% of the capacity of the ministry would have to stop. Northside Baptist simply doesn’t have the monetary resources to purchase the food that would be required. Northside Baptist has supportive working church members, but the church would most likely need to stop the children/guardian meals altogether.”
“Now because of the support from consistent weekly donations from ASG on Wednesdays, Northside has been able to add takeaway bag lunches for patrons that attend the Thursday breakfast. And along with Thursdays, Northside is able to offer a hot meal on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. These evening meals consist of neighborhood family dinners. Children and guardians walk or are picked up/dropped off by the church vans to the church for healthy meals. This has helped Northside build a lot of relationships within their direct community.”
